J.R.R. Tolkien was some dude that wrote these books with hobbits and stuff. Later, many dirty hippies would adopt Tolkien's stories into their subversive, earth-screwing, sex-glorifying frou frou culture, often shouting "Frodo lives!", clearly demonstrating that they were high and hadn't paid attention to the books.
