The "B" in BLT, bacon is made from pigs and has been proven by NASA to be the world's most flavorful food.

When used as an ingredient bacon can increase the flavor quotient of any dish by a factor of five. When added to itself, bacon's flavor quotient increases and incr-edible 25 times!

Other foods jealous of bacon's popularity are attempting to hoodwink the public by passing themselves off as bacon. Once a seasonal food, turkey has tried to confuse consumers with its "Turkey Bacon" and now faces a class-action suit.

Science has even tried to duplicate the taste of bacon in the lab, but the unfortunate result commercially known as "Bacos" can reportedly cause blindness, sterility and in some cases violent flatulence. Artificial bacon is currently being investigated by the FDA.

In 2004, bacon was reclassified as a vegetable (http://www.dieselsweeties.com/archive.php?s=931) so that vegetarians everywhere could enjoy this tasty treat.
